One
person
who really
deserves
a special
mention
is an artist
who continually
donates
her talents
towards
human rights
-- Linda
Cornelius.
While many
people
have told
us how
much they
admire
our website,
not everyone
knows that
much of
the credit
goes to
artist
Linda.
From
her studio,
Linda updates
the site
with new
stories
and images
that
we send
her --
and designs
how they
will look.
She can
always
be counted
upon to
produce
a beautiful
product,
often at
short notice
and with
a VERY
tight deadline.
And she
somehow
manages
while
keeping
up with
the heavy
demands
of her
thriving
studio!
But that
is only
the start.
Linda has
also designed
the YHRI
logo,
promotion
and events
props of
all kinds
as well
as all
sorts of
flyers,
brochures,
posters,
stationary,
booklets
and other
YHRI promotion.
You name
it -- she
did it.
Moreover,
that contribution
dates back
to the
dawn of
Youth for
Human
Rights
International
in 2001.
In fact,
years before
then, she
was already
designing
promotional
materials
for human
rights
causes.
Linda
says she
is very
happy to
help as
an artist.
Putting
her talents
to use
in order
to promote
human rights
is very
rewarding
and in
line with
the purpose
of art,
which includes
elevating
the culture.
Artists
in all
times have
been used
to advance
ideas,
politics,
power,
government,
religion,
and philosophy.They
are the
conveyors
of finer
concepts
and higher
aims.
Moreover,
due to
the wonders
of modern
computer
technology
and the
Internet,
she is
able to
do all
this while
being located
thousands
of miles
away from
YHRI's
Los Angeles
headquarters
-- in her
studio
in Milan
Youth
for Human
Rights
International
owes Linda
a permanent
debt for
all
her hard
work. We
dedicate
this page
to her
for her
tireless
support
and
artistic
talents,
freely
donated
in the
service
of human
rights
for youth.
