Youth 4 Human Rights Racing Team Promotes Human Rights at the Clio Cup Championship

Young Austrian racecar driver, Niki Lanik, and his Youth 4 Human Rights Racing Team, promoted human rights while Lanik sped around the speeedway at Thruxton, in England. He placed 8th and 4th out of 30 competitors for the final two rounds of the 2007 Clio Cup Championship. The weekend was action packed with live Sky TV coverage and over 25,000 motorsport enthusiasts.

Thruxton, the Hampshire-based racing circuit, is famous for being the fastest circuit in Britain. Lanik’s Youth 4 Human Rights Racing car averaged 100 mph per lap, reaching 140 mph on the long straightaway.
