FOUR
LEVELS OF ACHIEVEMENT:
What
do I have to do to
attain the four levels
of achievement?
Level
3: (Recommended
for youth over 13)
1. Write a two-page
paper about human rights
violations in a part
of the world. Include
what should be done
to improve the situation.
2. Put together a
simple event about
human rights, such
as a booth on YHR Leaders
of Tomorrow Club as
part of a larger event,
or a speech at a school.
Coordinate your event
beforehand with your
group leader.
3. Become a pen pal
with a member of the
Club in another country.
Exchange at least three
letters or e-mails
about human rights
in your area and ask
about the state of
human rights in their
country.
4. Learn about a
culture different from
your own. Create an
art piece showing what
you like about that
culture. Suggestions
are:
- A story or essay
- A drawing or painting
- The script of
a short play
